Nothing says, “College Football” like bowl games and following the 2021 season, there will be a full schedule of bowl games on tap for the 2021-22 Bowl Season. Starting on December 17th and running through the January 10th College Football Playoff Championship Game in Indianapolis, there will be 44 games making up “A Celebration of College Football.”
“We are thrilled to have a full slate of bowl games scheduled for next season,” said Nick Carparelli, executive director of Bowl Season. “Last year dealt us many challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we have expectations that stadiums will be operating at full capacity again which will undoubtedly mean a memorable experience for student-athletes, fans, universities and communities. College football and Bowl Season is back, and we couldn’t be more excited.”
The bowl matchups will be announced on Sunday, December 5th with 40 of the games being televised on the ABC/ESPN family of networks. FOX and CBS will each air one game. Two games date and network are yet to be determined. The Cotton and Orange Bowls will serve as the College Football Playoff semifinal games this year, both will take place on December 31st.
